On this day 8 years ago we registered the magebit.com domain. Soon afterwards, the previous logo was made. It was a nice looking logo without much thought behind it and has helped us and in a sense define us as a company and brand.
The previous branding was pretty much logo that grew with various elements along with the company. Nothing much was defined upfront and basically it evolved as we grew. After 8 years with it, it became incredibly difficult to properly and consistently use it across all the different situations. So we knew we need to adapt and grow also visually - with a brand refresh that not only looks good, speaks our values but also is properly defined and ready for broad use.
Now, we are starting a new chapter with a brand refresh. The new logo and branding as a whole reflect our core values and the culture that has grown within the company. On top of that, the new branding will help us be more consistent, digital-era ready and overall conquer new heights.
The process of brand refresh took quite some time, a lot of strategy and long-term views. We had to deeply evaluate who we are, what are we like and how do we want to be seen. Once we were done with self evaluation, future plans and brand strategy, we started on the brand refresh. Now, we have the base ready to properly grow also visually and be truly consistent with the brand.
