This Privacy Policy describes SIA "IDT Media", Reg.No.: 40103659860, (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our" or "Magebit"), practices related to the use, storage and disclosure of information we collect from you or about you, when you visit our websites or use our services. Your privacy is important to us and we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the information you provide remains secure. Please take a moment to read this Privacy Policy carefully. What do we do with your information?

Personal data means any information relating to you which allows us to identify you, such as your name, contact details, payment details, information about your access to our website etc.

When you fill a contact form on our website, we collect the personal data you give us such as your name, address, phone number and email to respond to your requests for information. These data can be used by Magebit to communicate with you and for potential communication with you in the future (no more than 36 months from the date of receipt).

Your enquiry also includes the page and service you asked about. When enquiry attribution is enabled by your advertising permission, we remember the first measured page, the referring website's hostname and campaign parameters in this browser tab, and include them with your enquiry to understand which pages and campaigns generate enquiries. This attribution expires after 30 minutes without a page load or enquiry, and is cleared when you turn off advertising. We do not store the referring page's full URL or arbitrary query parameters for this purpose.

When you apply for a job at Magebit, you submit CV, cover letter and other information for the purpose of considering your qualifications for employment. Your consent and our legitimate interest applies to all personal data processing that you provide in your application.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our company, website, updates and offers. If you would like to unsubscribe from our communications at any time, you may do so by clicking the "unsubscribe" link they contain or by contacting us at gdpr@magebit.com.

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive some of your computer's data, including internet protocol (IP) address and browser, in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browsing experience, troubleshoot technical concerns, maintain website safety and security, and better understand how our website is used.

We also use Cloudflare's existing traffic statistics to assess our public website. Our internal report groups successful page requests by day, public page, country or broad referral source. It does not request IP addresses, visitor identifiers, URL query strings or individual browsing histories, and it omits small groups. We do not link this report to enquiry records. This statistical use supports our legitimate interest in improving website content and reliability. It adds no browser storage or tracking request. Cookie rejection does not remove a request from Cloudflare's existing service statistics. You can contact us about this processing at gdpr@magebit.com.

Information about cookies and similar tracking technologies

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we keep Google's advertising consent signals denied, do not load LinkedIn tracking, and do not retain Google Ads click IDs for your enquiry. Global Privacy Control also prevents enquiry attribution. If you explicitly accept analytics, that choice still applies while advertising remains denied.

Cookies are small text files or pieces of information that are stored on your computer when you visit a website. A cookie will usually contain the name of the website from which the cookie has come from, the duration of cookie, and a value, which is usually a randomly generated unique number.

We use two kinds. Strictly necessary cookies and similar storage are needed for the website to work — for example, remembering your cookie choice, and the Cloudflare Turnstile check that protects our contact forms from automated abuse. These are used regardless of consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.

Analytics, advertising and videos are optional and off until you choose, wherever you visit from. "Accept all" enables all three; "Reject all" leaves them off. Use "Settings" to choose each purpose separately. Google Analytics measures visits; Google Ads and LinkedIn measure and personalise advertising; YouTube plays embedded videos. Advertising permission also enables the enquiry attribution described above.

Before you choose, or after you reject all, we do not load these providers' tags or players, send Google cookieless measurement requests, or store advertising click identifiers. Choosing analytics alone does not enable Google Ads, LinkedIn, enquiry attribution or videos. Choosing videos alone does not enable our analytics or advertising tools. YouTube still receives the information needed to serve a video, as explained below.

Measurement and advertising tools

Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads — measure how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which links are clicked, and whether a visit that started from one of our Google advertisements led to an enquiry. Google receives usage information and the network information needed to handle the request. Data can be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. We configure analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) for 182 days after acceptance, renewed by activity. This browser-cookie period is separate from Google's retention of collected data. Our page configuration removes arbitrary query strings and fragments, limits campaign labels, and reduces referrers to their origin. Google Signals and ad personalisation are disabled until advertising permission is given. Advertising cookies (_gcl_au, _gcl_aw) usually last up to 90 days. Analytics cookies require analytics permission; advertising cookies require advertising permission. If you allow advertising and send us an enquiry, we also pass Google a one-way hash of the e-mail address you entered so Google can match the enquiry to its records for conversion measurement. Hashing does not make this data anonymous. You can read Google's privacy information at https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html.

Advertising click identifier — when you arrive from a Google advertisement, the address of the page you land on can carry a click identifier (gclid,wbraid or gbraid). Only after advertising permission, we retain it in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days and attach it to an enquiry, alongside your advertising consent status. Choosing "Reject all", or sending Global Privacy Control, clears this storage and prevents further capture. A click identifier can link an enquiry to an advertising interaction; possessing it does not establish permission to upload the enquiry to an advertising platform.

LinkedIn Insight Tag — loads only with advertising permission, measures the performance of our LinkedIn advertising and allows us to show ads to people who have visited this site. Its cookies (including bcookie, li_sugr, lidc) last between one day and one year. LinkedIn's cookie policy is at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.

YouTube — some pages contain videos. We show a preview served from our own servers. The player loads only after you allow videos and press play. YouTube then receives your IP address, browser information and the referring site's origin. YouTube may set cookies; their policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Changing or withdrawing your cookie choice

You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Select"Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and choose again. Use "Back" to reach "Reject all", or turn individual purposes off and save. If you reduce your permissions, we update Google's consent signals, delete the analytics and advertising cookies we can reach from your browser, and reload the page with your new choice. "Reject all" also clears tab-local enquiry attribution and prevents these optional tags and players from loading again. Cookies already set on a provider’s own domain cannot be deleted by our website; you can remove them in your browser settings.

Your choice is remembered on your own device for six months, after which we will ask again. Clearing your browser's site data also clears it, and you will be asked on your next visit.

Rights related to Data Protection

You have the right to access, correct, update or request deletion of the personal data collected about you. If you change your mind after you opted-in, you may withdraw yourself for the continued use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at gdpr@magebit.com or mailing us at: Magebit, Aleksandra Caka 125 - 7, Riga, LV 1011, Latvia.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate privacy or data protection regulator in your jurisdiction.

Disclosure

You are responsible for any personal data of third parties obtained, published or shared through the contact form on our website and confirm that you have legal basis to provide the data to us. We may disclose your personal data to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.

Information we receive from other sources

We may also receive information about you from any of business partners to whom you may have given your details with permission from them to send it to us.

Security

To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed without a legal basis.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and/or clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

Legal information
