Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes SIA "IDT Media", Reg.No.: 40103659860, (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our" or "Magebit"), practices related to the use, storage and disclosure of information we collect from you or about you, when you visit our websites or use our services. Your privacy is important to us and we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the information you provide remains secure. Please take a moment to read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, or if you have a complaint, you should first contact us at gdpr@magebit.com, or by writing us at: Aleksandra Caka 125 - 7, Riga, LV 1011, Latvia.

What do we do with your information?

Personal data means any information relating to you which allows us to identify you, such as your name, contact details, payment details, information about your access to our website etc.

When you fill a contact form on our website, we collect the personal data you give us such as your name, address, phone number and email to respond to your requests for information. These data can be used by Magebit to communicate with you and for potential communication with you in the future (no more than 36 months from the date of receipt).

When you apply for a job at Magebit, you submit CV, cover letter and other information for the purpose of considering your qualifications for employment. Your consent and our legitimate interest applies to all personal data processing that you provide in your application.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our company, website, updates and offers. If you would like to unsubscribe from our communications at any time, you may do so by clicking the "unsubscribe" link they contain or by contacting us at gdpr@magebit.com.

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive some of your computer's data, including internet protocol (IP) address and browser, in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browsing experience, troubleshoot technical concerns, maintain website safety and security, and better understand how our website is used.

Information about cookies and similar tracking technologies

Cookies are small text files or pieces of information that are stored on your computer when you visit a website. A cookie will usually contain the name of the website from which the cookie has come from, the duration of cookie, and a value, which is usually a randomly generated unique number.

We use two kinds. Strictly necessary cookies and similar storage are needed for the website to work — for example, remembering your cookie choice, and the Cloudflare Turnstile check that protects our contact forms from automated abuse. These are used regardless of consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.

Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and are only used if you accept them. Nothing in this category is loaded before you choose: until you answer the cookie banner, no analytics or advertising provider receives a request from your browser, and no such cookie is set.

What we use if you accept

Google Analytics 4 — measures how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which links are clicked. The information generated about your use of the website, including your IP address, is transmitted to and stored by Google, including on servers in the United States. Its cookies (_ga, _ga_<id>) last up to two years. You can read Google's privacy information at https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html.

LinkedIn Insight Tag — measures the performance of our LinkedIn advertising and allows us to show ads to people who have visited this site. Its cookies (including bcookie, li_sugr, lidc) last between one day and one year. LinkedIn's cookie policy is at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy.

YouTube — some articles contain videos. These are not loaded automatically: we show a preview image served from our own servers, and the YouTube player is only loaded after you accept cookies and press play. Until then YouTube receives no request from your browser. Once you play a video, YouTube may set cookies and receive your IP address; their policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Changing or withdrawing your cookie choice

You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Select"Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and choose again. If you withdraw consent we stop using the optional cookies, delete the analytics and advertising cookies we can reach from your browser, and reload the page so that nothing further is loaded.

Your choice is remembered on your own device for six months, after which we will ask again. Clearing your browser's site data also clears it, and you will be asked on your next visit.

Rights related to Data Protection

You have the right to access, correct, update or request deletion of the personal data collected about you. If you change your mind after you opted-in, you may withdraw yourself for the continued use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at gdpr@magebit.com or mailing us at: Magebit, Aleksandra Caka 125 - 7, Riga, LV 1011, Latvia.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate privacy or data protection regulator in your jurisdiction.

Disclosure

You are responsible for any personal data of third parties obtained, published or shared through the contact form on our website and confirm that you have legal basis to provide the data to us. We may disclose your personal data to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.

Information we receive from other sources

We may also receive information about you from any of business partners to whom you may have given your details with permission from them to send it to us.

Security

To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed without a legal basis.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and/or clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

Legal information

Notice to European Users: this privacy statement has been prepared in fulfillment of the obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679. In the course of providing the services, we may share your information with our business partners or sub-processors that provide services such as website hosting, information technology and infrastructure provision etc.
