Seamless Middle East 2023 was a two-day digital commerce conference and exhibition held on 23–24 May 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Organised by Terrapinn and free to attend, the 23rd edition filled Sheikh Saeed Halls 1–3 and the Trade Centre Arena, bringing together payments, fintech, banking, retail, e-commerce and digital marketing professionals. Its conference stages focused on cashless payments, digital currencies and financial inclusion, alongside a large exhibition. Magebit at Seamless Middle East 2023

We attended without a booth. Both days went to networking across the exhibition and sessions with brochures and business cards in hand, introducing Magebit and our e-commerce strategy and development work to retailers and solution providers in the region, and coming home with a long list of new contacts. Highlights

• Nine shows under one roof — Seamless ran as Seamless Payments, Fintech, Banking, Identity, Cards, Retail, e-Commerce, Home Delivery and Digital Marketing in parallel, so a retailer could cover checkout, delivery and marketing in a single visit.
• Opening keynotes — H.E. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, opened the event, followed by a special address from the Secretary General of the League of Arab States.
• Commerce voices — speakers included Mark Adams, GM EMEA at BigCommerce, Gergana Abdulrahman, co-founder and CEO of Wild Fabrik, and Moamen Abdelbaky, Supply Chain Director at International Food Industries.
• Delivery tech on the floor — exhibitors showed what is next for last-mile logistics, including a delivery drone on the Aramex stand.
