eCommerce Expo 2026 was a great opportunity for the Magebit team to connect with merchants, partners and industry professionals, showcase Magebit Build, and strengthen existing relationships. From client visits and event preparation to two busy days at the expo, we packed a lot into our trip. The Magebit team attending the event included Arturs, Nigel, Sintija and me.
First days in the UK: Exploring London and visiting Personal Homecare Pharmacy
With eCommerce Expo ahead of us, our team arrived in the UK ready for a few busy and productive days of meeting clients, connecting with industry professionals, and representing Magebit.
We started the trip with breakfast and checked into the hotel, followed by some time to explore London. We walked through one of the city’s parks and passed by Buckingham Palace, a relaxed start that gave us a chance to recharge and get ready for the days ahead.

Before the expo kicked off, Nigel and Arturs visited our client, Mo from Personal Homecare Pharmacy, in Leicester, about 165 km from London. They met with the team to discuss new opportunities for using Superdesk and explore how we could further support their business.

While they were visiting the client, Sintija and I took the opportunity to explore the city and do some last-minute shopping before the busy event days ahead.
Once the whole team was back together, we met to discuss our strategy for the expo, align on priorities, and make sure everything was ready for the event.

Day 1 of eCommerce Expo: Magebit Build, conversations and the Hyvä afterparty
The first day of eCommerce Expo was the busiest one, full of conversations, product demonstrations, and new connections.
Magebit was represented as part of the Hyvä stand, which was the largest stand at the entire expo. We showcased Magebit Build on screen, giving merchants the opportunity not only to hear about the product, its features, and functionality, but also to see it in action and experience it for themselves.
Being able to demonstrate the product live made the conversations much more engaging. It allowed us to show that at Magebit, we don’t just talk about ideas, we turn them into real, working solutions that deliver a great experience.

We had many interesting conversations with merchants, and it was great to see genuine interest in Magebit Build and other Magebit products and solutions, hear their questions, and discuss how the product could support their businesses.
Beyond product discussions, the expo was a great opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with colleagues and partners, and exchange ideas with others across the e-commerce industry.

After the expo, we headed to the Hyvä afterparty. It was a great way to wrap up the first day, continue conversations in a more relaxed setting, and spend some time with the wider community. Delicious BBQ, fancy drinks, and live music created a relaxed and fun atmosphere, the perfect way to unwind after a busy day at the expo.
We also took some time as a team to reflect on the day, share our feedback, and discuss a few strategy adjustments for Day 2.
Day 2 of eCommerce Expo: More conversations and new connections
The second day was a little quieter than the first, but there was still plenty happening around the stand. We continued speaking with merchants and industry professionals, learning more about their businesses and discussing potential opportunities. The Hyvä team also filmed an interview with Nigel, giving him a great opportunity to share more about Magebit and our work.

Once the expo wrapped up, we met our client Mo from Personal Homecare Pharmacy for dinner at the rooftop Chinese restaurant Shanghai Me London. With an amazing view and delicious food, the evening brought plenty of interesting and thoughtful conversations.
It was a great opportunity to share thoughts in a more relaxed setting, catch up outside the usual work environment, and wrap up the expo and our time together.

Thank you to the organizers
A huge thank you to the Hyvä team for welcoming us, hosting Magebit as part of your stand, and creating such a great environment throughout the event. From the stand experience to the afterparty, everything made it easy to connect, exchange ideas, and spend quality time with people from across the e-commerce community. We really appreciated the hospitality and the opportunity to be part of it.
