The Latvia E-commerce Association Opening Dinner was an invitation-only evening held on Wednesday, 10 June 2026, from 18:00 to 22:30 at Restaurant Osta (Matrožu iela 15, Riga) on the banks of the Daugava River, celebrating the founding of LATEKA, the Latvian E-commerce Association. Organised by LATEKA for its members and special guests, it brought merchants, service providers, technology partners and industry professionals together in an informal setting, and was supported by Magebit, Montonio, Visa, Latvijas Pasts and Klix. LATEKA was established to unite and represent Latvia’s e-commerce ecosystem, promote industry development, encourage knowledge sharing and help create a stronger environment for digital commerce. The opening dinner marked the start of that work: the first time members and partners came together as a community.
Magebit at the opening dinner
Magebit supported the evening as a founding member of LATEKA: Magebit CEO Artūrs Krūze chairs the association’s board, and co-founder Kristaps Rjabovs serves on it. Magebit also co-hosts the eCommerce Latvia Community Meetup with LATEKA at its Riga office.
