About Mage Camp 2026
Mage Camp 2026 is a one-day Magento and Adobe Commerce conference for merchants, taking place on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 at Sister in the Renold Building, Manchester. Fringe events start the day before, on 13 October. The full programme is on the official Mage Camp website.
Mage Camp first ran in London in 2009 as the world’s first English-language Magento event, and the stage where Magento launched Enterprise Edition, now Adobe Commerce. It returns in 2026 as a not-for-profit event co-organised by five independent agencies, On Tap, PushOn, Gene, Foundation Commerce and Monsoon Consulting, with the support of the Magento Association and Manchester Digital.
The day runs on two parallel tracks covering what it takes to grow an online store: traffic, conversion, retention, average order value, operations and AI. Sessions are chosen for substance, not sponsorship, so expect lessons from people who run and build e-commerce stores rather than vendor pitches.
Why attend
- Built for merchants – store owners, e-commerce leads and their teams are the core audience, and verified merchants attend in person for free.
- Two tracks, one day – business and technical sessions run side by side, so a team can split up and cover both.
- Practical, not promotional – case studies and honest takeaways you can apply as soon as you are back at work.
- The UK Magento community in one room – merchants, developers, agencies and technology partners from across the Magento and Adobe Commerce ecosystem.
Agenda highlights
- Welcome talk by Katie Gallagher OBE on how Manchester became a digital powerhouse.
- Opening keynote by Phil Knight: “The Website Is the Easy Bit”, on what digital transformation really takes.
- AI and search – David Edmundson-Bird on building trustworthy AI e-commerce businesses, and Dan Coleman on getting found by humans in an AI world.
- Performance – Karlijn Löwik on when to stop investing in site speed, and Jakub Winkler on stopping bots from eating your Magento performance and hosting budget.
- Closing keynote by Matt Sims: “When Your Customers Move On: The Cost of Standing Still”.
Around the conference, the fringe programme includes Women in Ecommerce and pre-event networking on 13 October, a morning Mage Run, and the After Dark party on the evening of 14 October.

Mage Camp FAQ
Mage Camp 2026 takes place on 14 October 2026 at Sister, Renold Building, 32a Altrincham Street, Manchester M1 7JR.
Mage Camp is built for Magento and Adobe Commerce merchants: store owners, e-commerce managers and the in-house teams behind them. Developers, agencies and technology partners attend too, but sessions are chosen for practical value to merchants rather than for sponsorship.
Verified merchants can claim a free in-person ticket, which also includes access to the session recordings. Agencies, vendors and freelancers buy a paid ticket, and an online pass streams both tracks.
