Magebit IT Bootcamp 2026
About Magebit IT Bootcamp 2026
Magebit IT Bootcamp 2026 was a free, two-week, on-site programme held from Monday 8 June to Friday 19 June 2026 at the Magebit office in Riga (Uriekstes iela 2A), and it was built around one change: AI coding agents. Participants got a single task — build a real online store — and spent their time planning and prompting rather than writing code line by line. Places were limited to 20, earned through an application and a technical test, and the programme ran in English. Details were published on bootcamp.magebit.com.
Trainers
Trainers: Magebit developers Raimonds Vizulis, Armands Jānis Lukaševičs and Dāvis Laksbergs, himself a bootcamp alumnus.
The agent-driven workflow is the same shift toward AI-assisted development that Magebit brings to client work.
The brief
Every team’s store had to meet the same bar:
- Load times under a second
- No critical code issues
- A full feature set, from search to checkout
Highlights
- Week one: Agent-driven development, Git, frameworks, CSS and database design, then each team’s homepage and product listing.
- Week two: Product pages, cart and checkout with a Stripe payment integration, an admin panel and responsive design.
- Final demos: Two weeks earlier, most of the participants had never shipped an online store. On the final Friday all four teams demoed one that worked.
- Graduation: The bootcamp closed with certificates and a graduation in caps, with top performers in line for a job offer at Magebit.
