Meet Magento Poland 2024
About Meet Magento Poland 2024
Meet Magento Poland 2024 was a two-day Magento and Adobe Commerce conference held on 30 September and 1 October 2024 at Słodownia in Stary Browar, Poznań. It is organised by Snowdog’s Kuba Zwolinski and Marta Molińska under the Magento Association, and returned after a three-year break with a refreshed format mixing conference talks, discussion panels, informal barcamp-style sessions and hands-on workshops, all under the theme “Need for Speed – Edition on Magento Performance”. The audience brought together merchants, developers, agencies and technology partners from Central and Eastern Europe. The full programme was on the official Meet Magento Poland website.

Booth: Kristaps Rjabovs, Edvards Dergačevs and the team ran a Magebit booth in the exhibition area, with Venta Rapid Deployment roll-ups on show alongside it.
Panel: Rūdolfs Mušperts of Magebit joined the main-stage discussion “UX, design and performance strategy”, moderated by Kuba Zwolinski, alongside Vinai Kopp of Hyvä and front-end developer Bartek Igielski. It was a natural fit for an edition about speed and for our Magento performance work.
Highlights
- Caching for performance: Ivan Chepurnyi on “Optimizing Cache for Saving Cash” and Thijs Feryn of Varnish Software on Varnish Enterprise opened the performance theme on day one.
- Sustainability vs speed: a panel asked whether merchants have to choose between sustainability and performance.
- Future of Magento Open Source vol. 2: Vinai Kopp, Mathias Schreiber, Thomas Goletz, Tymoteusz Motylewski and Slava Kravchuk returned three years after the original debate to discuss the platform, Mage-OS and the Magento Association.
- Merchant case: Miłosz Sokół of Medicover on the technical challenges of building Medistore, a marketplace for medical services, on Magento.
