Meet Magento Florida 2027: A Merchant's Guide to Passes, Agenda and Planning

This guide is for e-commerce directors, heads of e-commerce and store owners running Adobe Commerce or Magento Open Source who are deciding whether Meet Magento Florida 2027 is worth two days away from the business, and how to make it pay off if you go. Magebit has attended the last two editions, spoken at both, and will be there again in 2027, so this is written from the floor, not from a press release. Every price and date below was checked against the organiser’s site on 3 October 2026.

What Meet Magento Florida is

Meet Magento Florida is the Magento and Adobe Commerce community’s February conference in South Florida, part of the wider Meet Magento family of events. It is organised by RAVE Digital and aheadworks and brings together merchants, agencies, technology vendors and developers. Expect business and technical tracks, an expo hall full of vendors and agencies, evening socials and a beach day to close. The hashtag is #MM27FL.

It is small enough that you can actually talk to people. That is the main difference from the large vendor-run conferences, and for a merchant it is the main reason to go.

Dates, venue and getting there

  • Dates: 1–2 February 2027, with a beach day on 3 February in the published outline
  • Venue: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, FL 33314
  • Hotel: the organiser says a limited number of discounted rooms will be available at the venue for stays from 29 January to 3 February 2027, with booking details still to be announced and sent to pass holders

Staying at the venue is worth it. Sessions, the expo, the socials and most of the unplanned conversations all happen under one roof, and you will miss the last of those if you are commuting. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) is the closest major airport; Miami International (MIA) is the other option.

Passes and what they cost

Merchants get by far the best deal at Meet Magento Florida, and the organiser has built incentives specifically to get merchants in the room.

  • Merchant-only pass (early bird): $150, 70% off the $500 full price
  • Merchant groups: $135 per pass for 3–4 passes, $127.50 per pass for 5 or more
  • Non-merchant pass (early bird): $350, 30% off
  • Evening Socials pass for a guest: $200, covering the expo hall happy hour, dinner and after-party; it must be tied to a full conference registration
  • Refunds: conference passes are fully refundable through 31 December 2026

The organiser’s pass page states that early-bird prices increase after 31 October 2026, so if you are leaning towards going, buy before then; the refund window covers you if plans change. Merchant status is verified after purchase, and the organiser cancels merchant-priced passes bought by agencies or vendors. Use your company email address, which the incentive program also requires.

The Merchant Incentive Program

This is the part most first-time attendees miss. A verified merchant who holds five 15-minute meetings with sponsors during the conference gets 100% of the pass price reimbursed after the event. Each sponsor scans your badge at the end of the meeting, the organiser counts validations when the conference ends, and five validations means a full refund.

Two other merchant offers sit alongside it. A sponsor stamp card enters you into a prize draw at the closing session, and a merchant whose success story is submitted together with its agency or technology partner can receive a free pass and a 30-minute speaking slot. The merchant incentive page has the full terms.

Five meetings across two days is easy, and it costs you nothing if they are meetings you wanted anyway. That is the trick: pick sponsors whose products answer a real question on your roadmap, and the refund is a side effect.

Is it worth it for a merchant?

Honestly, it depends on where your store is.

It is most worth it if you are facing a decision in the next 12 months: a replatform or Adobe Commerce upgrade, a frontend rebuild on Hyvä, a slow store you need to fix, a new ERP or PIM, or a search, payments or personalisation vendor to choose. In two days you can put the same question to several agencies and vendors face to face and compare answers. On a sales call you get a pitch. Over coffee, with a peer merchant standing next to you, you tend to get a straighter answer.

It is less worth it if your store is stable, your roadmap is set and you mostly want to keep up with trends. Recorded talks and webinars cover that more cheaply. The organiser says session recordings and materials will be available to registered attendees after the event.

What the room gives you that a webinar cannot:

  • Peer merchants. Other e-commerce leads running the same platform, with the same problems, who will tell you what actually worked for them.
  • Candid vendor and agency conversations. You can watch how people answer questions they did not prepare for.
  • The ecosystem in one place. Adobe is the 2027 headline sponsor, and Hyvä is among the announced sponsors, so you can ask about platform direction directly rather than reading it second-hand.

How to plan your two days

The organiser has published an outline of the 2027 schedule. It is subject to change, but it shapes how you should plan:

  • 31 January: workshops and booth set-up, before the conference proper.
  • 1 February: registration, the expo hall from mid-morning, an agency round table, lunch, then the opening note and keynote in the afternoon, followed by an expo hall happy hour. Invite-only sponsor-hosted dinners fill the evening.
  • 2 February: business and technical tracks run all day, with an invite-only merchant round table over lunch, a closing note, the closing party dinner and an after-party.
  • 3 February: beach day, early afternoon.

So the first day is the best time for the expo hall and the second belongs to sessions. Three things make the difference:

  1. Shortlist before you fly. Look at the sponsor list, pick the five to eight companies relevant to your roadmap, and decide what you want to learn from each. Those meetings are also your five incentive validations.
  2. Book meetings early. Good conversations at the booths fill up on day one. Email ahead, agree a time and leave gaps for the people you meet by chance.
  3. Choose tracks by problem, not by speaker. The business track suits e-commerce leads; send your technical lead to the technical track if you are bringing one.

Do not skip the socials. The happy hour, the closing party and the beach day are where vendors stop presenting and merchants compare notes, and a lot of the most useful conversations at past editions happened there, as our Meet Magento Florida 2026 recap describes. If you can, stay for the beach day.

Sessions to watch

The 2027 agenda has not been published yet. The organiser is announcing speakers and sessions progressively, and the call for speakers closes on 30 November 2026, so expect the lineup to fill in from December.

Past editions give a fair idea of the range. The organiser’s call for speakers asks for talks on agentic commerce and AI shopping, AI search and LLM visibility, platform migration and modernisation, Core Web Vitals and performance, B2B, integrations with ERP, PIM and marketplaces, and real-world Magento implementations. Magebit has contributed to both sides of that. In 2025 Emīls Malovka spoke on “Scaling with Confidence: Pushing Magento Beyond Its Limits”, and in 2026 Nauris Mikelsons presented “How Agentic Commerce Solves the Online Trust Gap”.

We will not promise specific sessions before they are announced. Check the official agenda closer to the date.

Come with your hardest question. Magebit is listed among the 2027 sponsors, so fifteen minutes with us also counts towards your five incentive meetings.
