Bizaar
Bizaar is a UAE-based IT distributor serving the GCC and global markets with more than 8,000 technology products. The business serves both trade buyers and individual customers, combining B2B and B2C sales in a single distribution model.
Before this project, Bizaar had no online purchasing. Taking a distributor of this size online wasn't just about launching a website. It meant creating a new sales channel that could support business buying, consumer shopping, and thousands of products from day one.
In this case study:
About the project
Managing more than 8,000 products, serving both trade buyers and consumers, and selling across multiple markets required more than a standard e-commerce store. Bizaar needed a platform built for the realities of IT distribution.
Magebit delivered Bizaar’s first e-commerce platform on Magento Open Source and Hyvä, combining hybrid B2B and B2C functionality, geo-based multi-currency, and enterprise commerce capabilities.

Client challenges
Taking a large IT distributor online for the first time required an e-commerce platform that could support both trade operations and consumer sales. Key challenges included:
- Launching Bizaar’s first online sales channel while keeping its existing distribution business running smoothly
- Creating a single storefront that could meet the different needs of B2B buyers and B2C customers
- Organizing and maintaining a catalog of more than 8,000 products across multiple technology brands
- Supporting the complex purchasing process of business customers while keeping the shopping experience simple for consumers
- Displaying the right prices and currencies automatically for customers across the GCC and global markets
- Delivering a fast, reliable shopping experience despite the size and complexity of the platform

With Akeneo PIM integration and support for configurable products, the foundation was built to scale seamlessly to hundreds of thousands of SKUs. - Connected business operations and optimized performance
Magebit implemented purchase order workflows, proforma invoices, quote PDFs, and CCAvenue with payment fee, capture, and refund support. The team also improved Core Web Vitals across key pages to deliver a mobile-friendly experience.
