About Meet Magento UK 2026

Meet Magento UK 2026 was a two-day Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source conference held on 6–7 July 2026 in London, with the main conference day on 7 July at The Mermaid in Blackfriars. It is the official UK Meet Magento event, organised by the agency JH in partnership with the Magento Association, and 2026 was the ninth edition JH has hosted. The organisers reported 550+ attendees from more than 30 countries, over 40% of them retailers, and 41 speakers across a two-track business and technical agenda, run under an anti-sell policy. The fringe programme on 6 July included the first Meet Magento UK Hackathon, a Women in Ecomm afternoon and the official pre-party. The full programme is on the official Meet Magento UK website.

Booth: Sanita Matule, Valentins Kudinovs and the team ran the Magebit booth at The Mermaid, under a “#1 Adobe Commerce agency worldwide” banner. We were there to talk Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) roadmaps, Hyvä builds and site performance with merchants and brands planning migrations or upgrades.

Highlights

  • Adobe keynote: Shaun McCran (Adobe) gave the opening keynote, “Transforming your Commerce business with AI, Extensibility and Discovery”, after a community update from Ben Marks of the Magento Association.
  • AI and agentic commerce: sessions on whether AI agents can find your store, AI workflows that deliver results, and a business-track talk on payments and trust when an AI agent initiates the checkout.
  • Performance: Karlijn Löwik (RUMvision) asked “How fast is fast enough?”, and Ivan Chepurnyi showed 400 domains on one Magento instance for 200 EUR a month.
  • Whose Magento Is It Anyway?: a closing panel with Adobe, Hyvä, Mage-OS and the Magento Association on the future of open-source commerce and how AI is changing the cost of ownership for merchants.

About Meet Magento UK 2024

Meet Magento UK 2024 (#MM24UK) was a one-day Adobe Commerce and Magento conference held on 18 June 2024 at The Mermaid in London, hosted by the UK agency JH for the seventh year. More than 30 speakers presented across two tracks, a business track in the Main Auditorium and a technical track in the Newgate Suite, and the organisers reported over 750 attendees, the largest Meet Magento UK to that date. A community pre-party at The Devereux opened the event the evening before, and an after-party at Bounce Farringdon closed it. The programme was on the official Meet Magento UK 2024 website.

Magebit at Meet Magento UK 2024

Attendees: A team from Magebit attended the conference to meet the UK Adobe Commerce and Magento community and sat in on the business-track sessions in the Main Auditorium. The talks on site speed and B2B buying were the ones closest to our own work with UK merchants.

Highlights

  • Opening keynote: Jamie Huskisson, CEO of JH, welcomed the audience, followed by Eric Erway of ShipperHQ on Magento’s community-driven future.
  • Web performance: Karlijn Löwik of RUMvision covered the state of web performance in 2024, from Core Web Vitals and INP to prerendering, a topic close to our own Magento speed optimisation work.
  • Accessibility and AI: the technical track covered making accessibility part of a team’s daily routine, with Kuba Zwolinski of Snowdog, and a panel on practical uses of AI in e-commerce.
  • Hyvä: John Hughes, VP Product at Hyvä, argued for simplicity as the secret to building better Magento storefronts.
  • B2B: The Cary Company shared how it improved purchasing and shipping for its B2B customers.

About Meet Magento UK 2023

Meet Magento UK 2023 was a one-day Adobe Commerce and Magento conference held on 18 July 2023 at The Mermaid in London, presented by the UK agency JH. It was the 13th Meet Magento UK and the sixth hosted by JH, aimed at merchants, developers and technology partners working with Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source. 35 speakers presented across a merchant track in the Main Auditorium and a technical track in the Newgate Suite, followed by networking drinks and an after-party. Magebit at Meet Magento UK 2023

Attendees: Kārlis Stīpnieks and Emīls Malovka attended the conference for Magebit.

They made it a London business trip: after the conference they stayed on for meetings with existing clients, including the Snap-on team, and a first meeting with the company behind Dunkin’ in the UK. We wrote it up in London Diaries: Magebit’s Business Trip Recap.

  • Opening keynote: Georgia Scott, Head of Solutions Marketing at Adobe, on the future of e-commerce, after a welcome from JH CEO Jamie Huskisson.
  • Hyvä: Hyvä CEO Willem Wigman on why developers love the Hyvä Theme, Checkout and UI Library.
  • Panels: an inflation-busting e-commerce strategy panel with merchants including LeMieux, and a panel on artificial intelligence and its place in the future of commerce.
  • Closing keynote: Marc Wiseler of Adobe on the Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce roadmaps.

About Meet Magento UK 2018

Meet Magento UK 2018 (#MM18UK) was a one-day Magento conference held on 13 June 2018 at The Mermaid in London. It was the first edition hosted by the UK agency JH, and the first major Magento conference after Adobe announced its acquisition of the platform. The programme ran in two tracks, business and technical, with keynotes and panels on the main stage for merchants, developers, agencies and technology partners.

Attendees: Two members of the Magebit team attended the conference to follow the talks and meet the UK Magento community.

For a team building Magento 2 stores, it was a first look at how the UK community saw the platform’s future under Adobe.

Highlights

  • The customer journey: a Magento keynote mapped the path from awareness through discovery, consideration and conversion to support, across marketplaces, social, email and stores.
  • Meet Magento Initiatives 2018: a main-stage session presented the year’s initiatives of the Meet Magento event series.
  • Sponsors: Akoova, JH and PayPal were the headline names on the stage banners, with Klarna, Adyen, dotmailer, Nosto and Algolia among the partners.
