American Medical ID
American Medical ID is a trusted provider of medical identification jewelry and emergency medical products designed to help first responders access critical health information when it matters most.
As the business expanded across multiple markets and customer segments, American Medical ID needed a modern e-commerce platform capable of supporting complex product personalization, localized shopping experiences, and future growth.
In this case study:
About the project
For American Medical ID, personalization isn’t a feature; it’s the product. As the business continued to grow, the existing platform struggled to support the level of flexibility, performance, and scalability needed for the next stage of growth.
Magebit was tasked with rebuilding the e-commerce experience, creating a modern platform designed around personalization, international expansion, and long-term scalability.

- Migrate from Adobe Commerce without disrupting business operations
- Support highly customized medical ID products and complex engraving requirements
- Launch and manage localized storefronts across multiple markets
- Deliver a consistent experience across different languages
- Migrate critical business data, content, and customer information
- Replace and reconnect numerous third-party systems and integrations
- Improve performance while maintaining a feature-rich customer journey
- Execute a seamless go-live with minimal operational risk
