Tayda Electronics is a retailer and distributor of consumer electronics and accessories, serving both B2B buyers and everyday shoppers. Their catalog is large and product-heavy, with many customers buying the same items repeatedly. Because of that, speed and clarity matter a lot.
Tayda sells through both web and phone channels and supports customers who often place bulk orders or reorder frequently. For them, a slow or unreliable storefront isn’t just inconvenient, it directly affects how easily customers can do business.
Tayda chose Magebit for its hands-on experience building fast, performance-first Adobe Commerce sites. Magebit’s focus on clean architecture and long-term maintainability made them a good fit for modernizing Tayda’s ecommerce platform.

About the project
Tayda’s existing Magento Open Source site had started to show its age. As the catalog expanded, the storefront became slower and harder to change. Product discovery felt clunky, bulk ordering took more effort than it should, and performance could suffer when customers built large carts, especially frustrating for repeat buyers who just wanted to get in and out quickly.
The team wanted a faster storefront on a more modern setup. The goal was to reduce steps for repeat purchases, make large orders easier to manage, and improve how related products surfaced.
Maintainability was just as important as speed. Tayda needed a cleaner foundation that would allow them to introduce new features, pricing logic, and UX improvements over time without breaking core flows.

The role of Magebit
Where digital magic comes to life
From the start, we worked closely with Tayda to understand how customers place orders, especially repeat and bulk purchases, and where the existing storefront created friction. We led the project end to end, from shaping the overall approach to delivering a faster, more reliable storefront.
- Full ownership of the rebuild
Magebit took full ownership of rebuilding the storefront on Adobe Commerce (Magento 2), using Hyvä to deliver a faster, cleaner frontend. Magebit’s Venta foundation provided a stable base that keeps the site easy to extend as new features are added. - Designing around real buying behaviour
We redesigned key browsing and ordering flows to match how Tayda’s customers buy in practice. This included introducing a custom product grid for high-volume ordering, Saved Cart, and Quick Order functionality to reduce steps for repeat purchases. - Improving pricing, discovery, and reordering
To better support bulk buyers, we implemented advanced tier pricing, product relations, and a structured mega menu to make large catalogs easier to navigate. Out-of-stock notifications, reward points, and price subscriptions were added to support repeat purchasing and long-term customer value. - Checkout, search, and operational reliability
Checkout and search were configured to reflect Tayda’s catalog structure and buyer behaviour, while integrations were aligned with Tayda’s existing systems. This ensured pricing updates, refunds, and notifications continue to work reliably as order volumes and basket sizes grow. - Built to scale
Beyond launch, the focus was on maintainability. The Hyvä-based setup allows Tayda’s team to ship changes, introduce new features, and iterate safely, without putting ordering flows at risk.
