AWS makes you decide everything a hosting plan decides for you. That’s the part we do, as an AWS Partner with 40+ AWS-certified experts.
Over the architecture and the codebase, with no provider limits.
Instead of migrating every time the store outgrows a plan.
Pay as you go, or commit upfront and cut some bills by more than 60%.
A badly designed AWS estate can still cost more and run slower than good hosting. The architecture matters more than the provider.
Application servers grow and shrink with traffic while the database stays steady.
Database, cache, search and file storage don’t have to be servers you patch yourself.
AWS regions keep the store where your data-protection obligations require.
Every AWS project starts with the store’s real numbers, not a template.
CPU, memory and SSD usage on the existing servers.
Normal days, peak days, and how the team runs promotions.
Because not everything should be solved with more memory or autoscaling.
The setup costed in AWS’s pricing calculator and agreed before anything is built.
On the servers, nginx, PHP, MySQL, Redis, Varnish and cron are configured for Magento’s workload.
Magento’s PHP, with web, admin and background jobs split by load.
MySQL with automated snapshots, and Redis for sessions and cache.
Search and layered navigation, shared files, media and backups.
Static files served near shoppers, code released to every server.
Autoscaling lets a campaign land without the store falling over, but only if the application is built for it.
CPU and response times, with capacity scheduled ahead of planned sales.
Sessions in ElastiCache and files on EFS or S3, so any server can take any request.
Feeds and exports built on the admin instance, still reachable from the storefront.
After the peak, so the bill follows the traffic.
Releases that shoppers never notice.
Dependencies and static content built in the pipeline, not on live servers.
Through CodeDeploy, with a rollback ready for every release.
Dockerized staging in your AWS account, deployed through Jenkins.
Most AWS migrations that go wrong fail on something small. These are checked before the move.
SSL moved or replaced, and EC2’s default port 25 restriction planned around.
Scheduled jobs, database dumps and secondary applications accounted for.
ERPs, payment processors and CRMs given the new address before go-live.
Layers that keep the data private and the store recoverable. Round-the-clock monitoring and threat‑intelligence protection are available on top.
RDS, ElastiCache and OpenSearch open only to the app servers.
Cloudflare or AWS WAF in front, and IAM users with no shared credentials.
RDS snapshots, media backups and a recovery plan you hold a copy of.
An AWS estimate from us covers the whole move, not only the servers.
EC2, RDS, EFS, S3, ElastiCache, Auto Scaling and CodeDeploy.
nginx, PHP, MySQL, Redis, Varnish and cron, tuned for Magento.
Database, codebase and media moved across.
The full store proven before anything is switched.
Cloudflare WAF, managed backups, CloudFront and load tests.
Final data sync, DNS, configuration and a full round of testing.
Pre-live is where problems are meant to be caught, and we treat it that way.
The environment address, access details, and what can’t be tested before launch. What you see there is exactly what goes live.
The live address and access to every new service. Anything outside the agreed scope is logged separately, so launch day doesn’t grow into a project.
Adobe’s managed cloud runs on AWS or Azure underneath, so the real question is who designs and runs it.

Most AWS bills we’re shown are paying for servers the store doesn’t need, while the part that’s actually slow gets no attention. Send me your current setup and your busiest day, and I’ll show you what we’d build.

Yes, when it’s designed for the store. AWS offers managed versions of everything Magento depends on and scales the web tier with demand. Poorly designed, it can cost more than good hosting, so the design matters most.
Usually EC2 for the application, RDS for the database, ElastiCache for sessions and cache, OpenSearch Service for search, EFS for shared files, and S3 with CloudFront for media, with Auto Scaling and a load balancer in front.
We cost the proposed setup in AWS’s pricing calculator during discovery, from your store’s measured load, and agree it with you before building. Committing upfront for the steady part of the load can cut the bill substantially.
That’s what the preparation and pre-live testing are for. We check certificates, email, cron, IP whitelisting and every third-party connection, test the full store on pre-live, and only then switch.
Adobe Commerce Cloud suits Adobe Commerce customers who want Adobe to own the infrastructure. Your own AWS suits Magento Open Source, custom architectures, and businesses that want direct control of the bill.
If you’d like us to. Our managed DevOps service keeps the AWS estate watched, secured, patched and supported through incidents, or your own team can run it from the documentation we hand over.
Yes. It’s Adobe Commerce on Cloud, Adobe’s managed option, that requires an Adobe Commerce license.
