About the project

The collaboration started many years ago when UK Meds was looking for a professional Magento agency to help with maintenance and some complex business requirement implementation. After we took over the project for maintenance, UK Meds were pleasantly surprised about our way of working. So we were trusted to build their other brands and in the long run have already rebuilt most of the original UK Meds project.

Client Challenges

The pharmaceutical industry is heavily regulated and requires a close collaboration with governments where the business operates. That brought some challenges and the ambitions and plans to enter different markets added some more. The main ones were:

1. Build and maintain phramacy stores to pass all security and governmental regulations and requirements
2. Quickly launch various startup ideas in the health and wellness space to validate the market reaction to them
3. Digitize and innovate so UK Meds is the leader in online drug sales, including selling prescription drugs
4. High stakes environment as the site sells also prescription drugs which distribution is overseen by governmental regulators
5. Very high speed and quality requirement that most agencies couldn’t provide
