Official integration for Dynamic Yield

About the project

Dynamic Yield has a very powerful and capable engine, yet they had to integrate with custom solutions for all of their Magento and Adobe Commerce clients. So they partnered with a company that already did some integrations for their clients - Magebit. The project was to create an official module that integrates all Magento versions with Dynamic Yield, support it and assist Dynamic Yield customers with implementation.

Client Challenges

Building official modules is no easy task. So they came to experts that had the experience and could take these and many other challenges:

1. Build a module in top notch quality they can be proud of distributing in their name
2. Help online stores with different versions and other nuances set up a single codebase that just works
3. Create a deep data integration that doesn’t affect performance yet shares all the necessary data for deep personalization
4. Create necessary documentation to allow self-setup for their clients

The role of Magebit

At Magebit we regularly develop official modules for company so we knew what we took on. It is always challenging to build solutions that need to be widely scalable, work across various versions and custom setups. Our part in the project involved:

• Strategic planning and guidance
  ‍Full project guidance - from technical architecture to module documentation and distribution.
• Deep integration with Dynamic Yield
  ‍In order to provide the most accurate recommendations or changes in the site, Dynamic Yield requires a lot of data to analyze.
• Cross-version support
  ‍Different stores run on different versions, with different security measures and infrastructures. Some on Commerce, some on Open Source. So we built a highly scalable solution that works for all.
• Long-term support
  ‍Not only we built the official module, we also supported it through its lifecycle - security updates, compatibility with latest Magento updates, etc.
