Kurši is one of Latvia’s leading building materials retailers and wholesalers, serving construction companies, tradespeople, and professional customers across multiple regions. With annual revenue exceeding €100 million, Kurši operates at significant scale, running a high-volume B2B business built on negotiated pricing, account-based relationships, and frequent repeat orders.
B2B customers rely on accurate pricing, clear approval processes, and fast access to documents such as invoices and order history. As volumes grew, these needs became harder to manage through manual channels. And that is when Kurši approached Magebit, given our experience building complex B2B ecommerce platforms where pricing logic, approvals, and ERP integration are central to day-to-day operations.

About the project
Kurši previously handled most B2B sales through email and phone. While familiar, this process made pricing management, approvals, and document control slow and error-prone.
Kurši wanted a dedicated B2B portal where business customers could log in, see their own negotiated prices, prepare and approve orders internally, request quotes, and access invoices in one place. At the same time, all data needed to stay fully synchronized with Axapta for customers, products, and orders.

The role of Magebit
Where digital magic comes to life
Magebit partnered with Kurši to design and deliver a purpose-built B2B platform that reflects how construction and trade customers actually buy. With deep experience in complex B2B commerce and ERP-driven environments, we led the project end-to-end, from shaping the right B2B workflows to delivering a secure, role-aware portal tightly integrated with Kurši’s ERP.
The focus was on replacing manual processes with a controlled digital experience.
- Full-ownership of the B2B platform
Magebit took ownership of designing and building the B2B portal on Magento Open Source, using Hyvä for a fast, clean frontend and the Aheadworks B2B module for account-based functionality. - Customer-specific pricing and credit
We implemented tier pricing for bulk orders, customer-specific pricing, and Customer Credit, allowing buyers to place orders against agreed credit limits, mirroring real-world B2B purchasing terms. To make access easier and more secure for business users, we also added Smart-ID sign-in. - ERP integration with Axapta
Rather than treating ERP integration as an afterthought, Magebit designed the platform around Axapta from the start. A bi-directional integration keeps customers, products, prices, and orders in sync, reducing manual work and giving Kurši confidence that the online portal reflects ERP reality. - Supporting real B2B workflows
The platform supports multi-user company accounts with preparer and approver roles, quotation requests for special pricing, CSV uploads for fast bulk ordering, and a self-service documents area for invoices and order history. - Built to scale
The result is a B2B platform that Kurši can rely on as volumes grow. More orders move online, fewer exceptions need manual handling, and ERP and storefront stay aligned, all built on a foundation that Magebit knows how to scale.
